Over forty years of history being made one day at a time!
Don Anderson established don anderson agency (daa) in 1965 to produce concerts and manage major artist's tours throughout the US and Asia/Asia Pacific. Don continued to produce concerts and manage tours until 1971 when the company was contracted by Holiday Inns Inc. to be their exclusive buyer of entertainment and systems conference meeting producer for their US properties. Don Anderson companies eventually became the entertainment buyer, production company and meeting planner for Sheraton Corporation, Hyatt Hotels, Westin Hotels, WHO, Doubletree and RIA and opened seven additional offices. Don Anderson Companies' exclusive relationships with these entities continued into the 1980's when Don formed an additional company, don anderson productions (dap), to act as Royal Viking Line's exclusive worldwide entertainment buyer/producer and Wrather Corporation's entertainment director, producer and meeting planner. It was during this period of time that dap ventured into the larger arena of meeting, conference, incentive, travel, event and entertainment planning, management and consulting and consolidated all of the companies into one in 1991, don anderson incorporated (dai). In 2000 we formed an owner/client alliance with Executive Travel and in 2004 that alliance evolved into dai/Summit Travel Group (STG) creating two companies to better fulfill our client's incentive and group business travel needs. dai and dai/STG is the largest American Express Network members in California and one of the premier meeting, incentive, event and travel planning, management and consulting companies in the industry. |
